These are minerals that have more than one type of oxyanion THAT DO NOT SHOW SOLID SOLUTION WITH EACH
OTHER. Thus aluminosilicates, arsenato-silicates etc. are not listed here but may be found in the list of silicate minerals, e.g.,
amphiboles, micas etc. Be minerals are commonly mixed oxyanion structures (see list of Be-mineral papers) as Be is
dominantly [4]-coordinated but has a low Lewis acidity and hence generally bonds to other oxyanions of higher Lewis basicity, as occurs in Be phases of the milarite-group minerals.
